Relaxing Serene Inn – My husband and I came to Newport for a few days and stayed at the mill street inn it’s on a lovely quiet street very close to everywhere you want to be in Newport. It’s so peaceful inside and the staff is so lovely it’s immaculately clean and the king size bed was soo comfy. The decor is modern and the exposed brick walls are so appealing breakfast is complimentary and served on the rooftop terrace with beautiful views of the harbor and the boats one block away they have a lovely afternoon tea downstairs also complementary with home baked goodies and fresh fruit and they also have snacks for you in your room oh and parking onsite is included no charge it’s a 10! I could live there! Look no further. This is where you want to stay!!

Mill Street Inn is an all-suites hotel, offering accommodation in 23 suites. All our suites combine contemporary design and modern technology with the historic charm of our National Historic Landmark building to create a relaxing and comfortable home for your Newport visit. As we are a historic property, all suites offer different layouts.  Please contact us with any individual requests or preferences.

Our Townhouse Suite is a large, two-level suite, located on the second floor of the Inn. It offers premier accommodations overlooking Newport’s Historic Hill to the Harbor.

We have a limited number of deluxe suites that accommodate up to 4 guests with existing bedding (one full sleeper sofa and one king bed). Guests looking for these accommodations must contact the hotel directly prior to booking to check availability and secure one of these suites. The inn does not have an elevator but we are happy to assist with luggage or accommodate requests to be placed on the first floor whenever possible.
