Owners:
In 1984 Hugh Jones and Jeff Farrar purchased the Mill Street Inn
and converted it into an all suites hotel. The renovation earned the
project an American Institute of Architects design Award for restoration.

General Manager:
At the Mill Street Inn we believe in “Team”. You will know from the moment you
walk through our door that everyone on the staff is devoted to providing the highest
level of hospitality to all of our guests. From the guest service agents who provide
you with all the Newport information you wish to have, to the award-winning housekeeping
staff that keeps your suite spotless, we all understand that guests come first. Our
General Manager, Dean Maki, has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry,
varying from a Cape Cod Resort, to a 600+ room hotel in Baltimore, to a 20 room lodge
in Amherst, MA, to opening an all-suite hotel in Boston. Dean and the entire staff
would love to welcome you to our beautiful property.
